About this typing test
WPM Flex is a free, no-signup typing speed test. Pick a duration — 15, 30, 60, or 120 seconds — and start typing the moment you're ready; the timer only starts on your first keystroke, so there's no rushed countdown. As you type, each character is marked correct or incorrect in place, and a blinking caret shows exactly where you are.
When time runs out you'll get your final WPM (based on correct characters only), your raw WPM (every character you typed, right or wrong), your accuracy percentage, and a breakdown of correct, incorrect, and missed characters. Your best score per duration and your last 10 results are saved locally in your browser — nothing is ever uploaded.
